Bringing the Sanlam Allianz Values to Life at SAZ GI

In a vibrant display of unity and enthusiasm, the staff of the newly formed Ghana SAZ GI entity celebrated their core values during the Values Training Session held from July 1st to 5th, 2024. Sporting their values T-shirts and selecting personal resonant values, the team delved deep into the essence of the SAZ values with Cindy Ludick, Human Capital Manager – Group, guiding the transformative experience.

The training provided an immersive journey into the SAZ values, encouraging staff to align their inner principles with the organizational ethos. This session also offered a platform to confront and navigate fears and anxieties related to the recent merger, fostering a supportive environment for change.;

Through an insightful change management session, participants found renewed optimism, embracing change as an essential part of growth and the natural course of life. The sessions equipped them with practical tools to manage and thrive amid transitions.

A highlight of the training was the extremely engaging group presentations, where staff showcased positive behaviors aligned with specific the values and identified actions that contradicted those same values. This interactive approach brought the values to life, making them tangible, practical, and relatable.

The training concluded on a high note with a creative artistic rendition of the SAZ values, filling the room with laughter and joy. Marian Ofosu - Dankyi, Head: People & Culture at SAZ GI, presented the “Empowerment Eagle,” symbolizing the strength of integrity and collaboration as talons, the innovation and care in powerful wings, and the beak and sharp eyesight as innovation and integrity.

Participants left the sessions with a profound sense of empowerment and a determination to embody the SAZ values and live it in their professional roles and daily lives. The enriching experience from the workshop reinforced the belief and the essence that these values are the foundational principles that guides who we are and the journey forward.
