Angelina Akani is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana), a Chartered Tax professional and a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.  She has extensive experience in financial and project reporting, Corporate Finance, Audit and Assurance and in-depth knowledge in taxation.   

She joined Saham Insurance Ghana Limited, a member of the Sanlam Group in June 2019 before the rebrand to Sanlam General Insurance in 2022 and has contributed to the company's strategic planning and direction by making commercial and financial input as a Senior Management Team member. She has been involved in implementing all financial aspects of the strategic plan and achieving relevant objectives. 

She holds a First degree in Business Administration (Banking and Finance option), a master's degree in Strategic Management and Leadership, and has attended several professional and leadership training courses both locally and internationally.
